Clinical details
Sudden onset of swelling of the right arm in a young athlete.
Summary of findings
Thoracic inlet syndrome with arm swelling due to venous thrombosis of the subclavian vein up to the Scalene triangle, both arterial and venous vessels of the axilla could be clarified with a single injection of Gadofosveset.
Diagnosis
Thoracic inlet syndrome. The arterial vessels are normal. Unremarkable arterial vascularization.
