Upper limb vessels / Thoracic outlet syndrom
Clinical details
45-year-old woman with clinical suspicion of arterial thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS).
Summary of findings
MRA of the upper chest in a 45-year-old woman with clinical suspicion of arterial thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) on the left.
Description of images
After a single injection of Gadofosveset, first-pass MRA with the arms adducted confirms normal vascular anatomy without impingement [A]. For the first time in the diagnostic work-up of patients with TOS, equilibrium phase of the blood pool contrast agent allows assessment of the vascular system with the arms abducted without a second contrast injection [B].
