Congress Reports

On Sept 13 - 16, 2006, the International MR Angio Club organized the 18th Annual International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Angiography in Basel, Switzerland. Blood pool agents and their applications were among the hot topics of the conference.

Scientific Presentations

The European Congress of Radiology represents the medical specialty of Radiology throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. During the Satellite Symposium at the ECR in march 2007 well known radiologists lectured about practical and clinical experiences and advantages of MRA with the blood-pool agent Gadofosveset.

More than 160 radiologists from 11 European countries attended the first symposium on “Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) with blood pool contrast agents” in September 2006 in Baveno-Stresa, Italy. In his presentation, Dr. Christian Fink from the University Clinic Grosshadern, Munich, focussed on the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.
